BEOGRAD (Belgrade)

Alessandro - Fabio - Franko / Christmas 2006, 23-26 December

For the first time in my life I didn't spend Christmas holidays with family, but I went with my friends for a little trip to Belgrade. Many hours of driving and finally we are there. We take a cheap accomodation in a hostel downtown. Our typical day in Belgrade start around noon, when we wake up (already crashed), and when we are ready we go out and we have some food: pleskavica, chocolate palacinka, pivo or redbull offcourse!! Then we wander around the city, also visiting nice buildins as Republic Square (with the statue of the "horse"), the castle (with the wartime equipment), St. Sava Cathedral (the biggest cathedral in the Balkans), and many bars. Then in the evening we go back in the hostel to refresh and after out again we start to drink beers and vodka in many pubs since we are ready to go to disco. And before going to sleep in the middle of the night we eat another pleskavica and palacinka.
