BRAZIL IF TRAVELLING IS YOUR PASSION, BRAZIL IS YOUR DESTINY !!! Rio de Janeiro We spend 3 days in Rio. We go up the hill of Corcovado with the statue of Cristo Redentor, where there is a wonderful view of the city (and of the Sugar Loaf). One morning we rest on the most famous beach of the world: Copacabana. And in the afternoon we go to the stadium of Maracana' to assist at a football match. Off course we visit also the city centre and the Lapa district.

Salvador de Bahia We stay one week in Salvador, in the district of Rio Vermelho, where the 2nd of February there is the Yemanja festival. We visit the old part of the city, called Pelourinho and with the elevator we go from the high city to the low city. But the most amazing things are the nights of the carnival! We partecipate and we have really much fun! We join a bloco (group) buying a t-shirt that allows us to follow a truck with a band (Trio Eletrico) and we dance all the night togehter with thousands of people.

Chapada Diamantina We go to the town of Lencois, and we have to full day of excursion in the national park of Chapada Diamantina. The first day we visit Rio Mucugezinho, Poco de Diablo, Morro the Pao Inacio (and we climb till the top), lake Pratinha, Gruta Azul and Lapa Doce. The second day we have a walk near the town, we walk near Rio Serrano, in the Salao de Arreia, we reach the Primavera waterfall. In the afternoon we go to Riberao do Meio, a stream on a slanting rock wall, where we can slide down into the water.
Natal We spend the last week in Ponta Negra, near the city of Natal, to relax and to get a tan. Our apartment is near the beach and the famous Morro do Careca. We rent a motor-bicycle and we visit other beaches as Cotovelo, Pirangi, Pipa. Last day we do an excursion with the dune-buggy to Genipabu'. The night life is always really nice.
