CROATIA Summer 2004

I have been two times in Croatia this summer. The first time with Gordana in Pula, the southernmost city of Istria, and the second time with my friends around Dalmatia.

Pula 26-28 May

I went to celebrate with Gordana my birthday in Pula. We spent there three days. The weather was sunny, but the water still too cold to swim. During the days we stayed on the beach and in the evening we went downtown for a walk and for a romantic dinner.

Dalmatia 30 July- 8 August

Stefano, Daniele, Max and I made a trip on the Croatian coast by car. First we drove towards the south and we spent the first night in Sibenik (actually we slept on a lawn of a motorway lay-by). Then we went till Split (because for Stefano was necessary) and we pitched the tents. We stayed two nights there.

Then we moved to Zadar and in the early morning of the day after we took the ferry to the isle of Cres. There in the camping of Kovaçine we found our perfect place, so we stopped there till the end of the vacation.

The motive of our vacation was gambling on our sport challenges as waterball games, football and beach-volley.
