SALZBURG
   30/12/2002 - 4/1/2003

For the Christmas holiday 2002 I took a week of relax together with my girlfriend Gordana in a nice B&B (bed & breakfast) in Austria, near Salzburg. We went there with my car Audi80, so on the way we stopped in Berchtesgaden to visit the salt minery.

The 31st we were in Salzburg, the weather was cloudy and rainy but we could anyway enjoy the city. First we walked on the hill Monchsberg, then we went downtown.

We visited also Festung Hohensalzburg with the castle, then again in the city centre, Kapitelplatz, Domplatz, Getreidegasse, etc.

Then we crossed the bridge Staatsbrucke and we went through Mirabell Garden.
We found a chinese restaurant for the dinner with a gorgeus buffet and we celebrate the New Years Eve watching the fire works beside the river Salzach that cross the city.

In the next days we visited the town of Bad Ischl, where the Emperor Franz Joseph had a summer residence and used to go to the thermal baths, and the lake Wolfangsee.

It has been a nice week and I had recharged the energies for the new year!
